Since having a long soliloquy about Loki's portrayal in 'Thor,' here I am to wax poetic again.  I have fangirled Tom Hiddleston's interpretation of him excessively hard, and 'The Avengers' does nothing to dissuade me, despite Loki being extremely, flat-out villainous in it without much to redeem him, which has been my gripe with Marvel-Universe ( Read more... )

So I've been further considering some of the way these movies were done, and it made me curious enough to take a peek online and see what other people thought on the issue of female portrayal.  Apparently, the consensus is:  X-Men fails, Thor wins.
